During the treatment, the pepsinogen concentration can decrease. Treated cattle have less contamination on the pasture with Trichostrongylid larvae, which leads to a cleaner environment after treatment with Albendazole boluses. Treated animals have increased weight gain than untreated animals. The average body weight difference between treated and untreated cattle is 10.7kg.
